He also authored a concept called “Job Factory- Converting Unemployment into Intrapreneurship” which is being used to create jobs in rural India. A public, keynote speaker on most of the ICT events in India and Founder of NGN Forum in India to spread awareness about NGN all-over.

 

He is the triple master in Electronic Technology, ICT Management and Telecom Regulation and Policy. He was inducted as the youngest Life Fellow of IETE (1991) and conferred Chartered Engineer in 1996. In addition, he served as the member of EC at IETE, Secundrabad in the 90s and also invited member of National Council in 2000s.

 

Joined Ministry of Communications in 1981 and Ministry of Railways in 1983, through Indian Engg, Services after Post Graduation in Electronics and Communication from IISc, Bangalore, the premium technical institute of India.  During 25 years with Government, he worked in various capacities in different departments of Govt. Some of these beings Senior Project Manager (passenger reservations computerization) in Mumbai area, Prof. of Telecom Training at IRISET Secundrabad, Project Director (GM) of IRCON International’s OFC Project, Principal Advisor (Additional Secretary to Govt. of India) TRAI (In- charge of Converged Network, Broadband, NLD, ILD and Interconnection Division).

 

He was awarded the Railways Minister award during 1995-96 for outstanding performance for Delhi area Digitalisation project of Indian Railways. He also pioneered the concepts of NIXI, NIR, IPV6, Unlicensed Spectrum, VOIP, Broadband Policy, NGN and Railtel in the Country all these are up and running. As a freelancer, he established a mentoring and advisory company “SAAM CorpAdvisors”, engaged in “Managing Govt. Affairs as a Service”

 

He has also been associated with International Telecommunication Union (An UN body) as an NGN Expert and also Commonwealth Telecom Organisation (CTO) as an NGN Trainer.  Vice-President and Trustee of PTC India Foundation, he is also elected as the Jt. Secretary-General of APT-ITU Foundation of India. He is a member of India IPV6 Task Force oversight committee an Apex body of the Govt. for IPV6 implementation and a Nominee Director of IT-ITES SSC of National Skill Development Corporation and Executive Secy. General of Amity International Telecom Forum. He is also appointed as Vice -Rapporteur of SG1 of ITU-D dealing with NGN, Broadband, and IPV6 migration.

 

Presently, he is heading Bluetown’s, India and Asia operations with the overall responsibility of “Making It Happen” its Vision of “Connecting the Unconnected People in Rural areas of World”.

Ravindra Kr Mishra, ITS graduated in Electronics and Communications. Engineering. In 1981. In 1983 he joined ITS Cadre in Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Telecommunications and continued to work on different field organization of DoT. Since October 2000 he worked with BSNL  and was involved in the Telecom Administration, operation installations and Maintenance and other projects dealing with modern telecommunication systems at National and International level.

 

From the year 2010 to 2012, he worked as Principal Advisor with Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) at the level of Additional Secretary to the Govt. of India and headed the Administration, International Relations and Regulatory Enforcement. He was also on board of Director of IIT COE, IIM Ahmedabad.

 

He was deputed as expert on to different countries China, Germany, France, and other countries.

 

He was on Board of Director of Two PSUs namely Indian Telephone Industries (ITI) and Millennium Telecom Ltd (MTL).

 

In DoT from 2012 onwards worked as Deputy Director General in Security Division, SU division, and Establishment. He worked with TCIL as Senior Consultant (Telecom).

Ramesh C Hooda graduated in Electronics & Communication Engineering in 1979 from R.E.C Kurukshetra (Now NIT Kurukshetra). He joined ITS cadre in Department of Telecommunication, Ministry of Communication, Govt Of India in 1982 and completed MBA during service. Mr Hooda is Telecom Professional with more than 36 Years of experience in various fields of Telecommunication. He worked in different fields of DoT and served as Head of various Telecom Districts as T.D.E, GMT in Rajasthan and Haryana. He had also worked as General Manager (Tech & Projects), Data Network Circle dealing with NIB, BBNOC, International Internet Bandwidth procurement etc.

 

He was involved in Telecom Operation, Maintenance, Installations related to different technologies. And, also associated with Implementation of CDR project, ERP Project, NOFN (Bharat -Net) project during his tenure in BSNL. He completed In-service and Refresher courses related to Project Management, Data Communication and Internet, Subscriber Access Technology (Overlay Access Network, MPLS –VPN and New technology), BSNL Management Training Program in IIM Ahmedabad. He was deputed for APT sponsored Training course on Telecom Network Planning at NTT TOKYO (JAPAN) in 1994.

 

He had also undergone Training in Planning & Effecting utilization in deployment of National Internet Backbone at M/S SGI Singapore, M/S Cisco System San Jose (USA), M/S Sun Net Scape Alliances San Jose (USA) in year 2000 and visited Communic Asia -2008 exhibition at Singapore Expo, Singapore during 2008. He has been involved in acquiring Enterprise Business, Sales & Marketing of various telecom services (Fixed Line, BB, Leased Line, GSM etc). Also, actively involved in Implementation of Bharat-Net (NOFN) Project (Phase1 & Phase2) for providing BB connectivity to Gram Panchayats in Haryana and Punjab.

 

He was awarded Certificate Of Excellence by Hon’ble M.O.S.C. (Independent Charge) Govt Of India in recognition of significant contribution in achieving Bharat-Net Phase1 target of 1 Lakh Gram Panchayats. He is also associated with PTC India Foundation and is Life Member of APT-ITU foundation of INDIA. Presently he is providing Consultancy Services for Implementation of Cyber Crime Project named “INDIAN CYBER CRIME CORDINATION CENTRE” (I4C) by Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt Of India.
